Is it hard to participate in WTCC?

About that, it is how much difficult to prepare the car and to act in the World championship - small interview of Dmitry Bernikov, the chief executive of the "Russian Bears Motorsport" team.

- What complexities have arisen in the course of construction of the car for the World championship WTCC?

The most difficult in construction of the "Super-2000" car for us there was a working out of kinematic model of a suspension. It was necessary for entering in rigid technical regulations of "Super-2000". And suppliers became the big problem - we have received very many details with the big delays. Delays have been connected with it in car representation on homologation and the subsequent complexities.

- LADA 1106 WTCC is a road car or already a prototype?

The basic theme of Turing consists that is the road cars simply adapted for racing conditions first of all to please of safety. The body of our car completely stock, descended from JSC "AUTOVAZ" plant, in it already was mounted a safety cage later. Points of fastening of a suspension too by rules are forbidden for changing and so in all - strengthening of already existing design, but as not free flight of design thought is supposed.

 - Whether it was difficult from the point of view of logistics, a language barrier to construct racing cars in Russia and then to race exclusively abroad?

The big role in this question last year's experience of performances in the Dutch Supercar Challenge has played. The logistics of the World championship and the Dutch Championship are rather similar - it too extensive geography, distinctions only available races in America and Asia in the program WTCC.

We have an European technical base in small town Franeker in the north of the Netherlands. It is very conveniently located concerning the main European tracks, practically in the centre of Europe. After construction of cars at team's base in Moscow has ended, all technics and the personnel have moved to Holland where during a season and there is a work with cars.

We haven't any language problem, because we have russian-speaking Dutch partners which help us with this question.

 - Whether the western experts are involved in a team at work in the World championship?

We choose another way, rather than some our colleagues. We prefer not to give money to foreigners and to receive for it certain services, and to train our own, Russian experts. Therefore we during those moments where we do not have still enough experience, invite the European engineers - data-recording, mechanics, etc. In process of improvement of professional skill of regular experts of our command, we refuse services of foreigners.
